20" (51 cm.) All cloth doll of softly-stuffed very plump proportions,having center-seam that extends down both front and back head and torso,stitched-on hair fragments,painted simplistic facial features,large blue eyes,white eye dots,outlined nose and eyes,small mouth,stitch-jointed arms,mitten-shaped hands with unusual zig-zag finger definition,antique costume. Condition: very good,light spotting on face. Comments: American,late 19th century,the doll is ink-lettered "Margaret" on her shoulders. Value Points: appealing doll with simple childlike details of construction and painting.
