20" (51 cm.) Brown cotton doll with simple construction,painted large eyes with black-framed eye whites,stitched nose,very pronounced painted red lips,black wool yarn hair,stitch-jointed arms and legs,antique costume. Condition: very good,with some fading to features. Comments: American,circa 1900. Value Points: most endearing naive painting on the beloved doll.
