All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features,brown painted short curly hair,painted bright blue eyes with double white accents in each eye,painted lashes,short feathered brows,closed mouth with center accent line,stitch- jointed arms and legs,oil-painted lower arms and legs,bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Mrs. S.S. Smith,Manufacturer Roanoke,Ala. Patented September 26,1905. Comments: Alabama Baby,circa 1915. Value Points: very sweet face emphasized by large blue eyes that are artistically painted,costume appears original.
