22" (56 cm.) All-cloth doll with rounded flat-dimensional face,the
head given rounded shape by inset side panels,painted black curls
that frame the face,painted complexion,outlined bright blue
eyes,outlined nose,and painted lips,muslin stitch-jointed body with
oil-painted stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally
excellent,patching on arms. Comments: American,circa 1885. Value
Points: very expressive face achieved by unusual painted brilliant
eyes,antique costume.
