66" (168 cm.) A paper-mache figure of Uncle Sam with painted facial
features and hair,and having sculpted classic top hat,and red,white
and blue Stars and Stripes costume is posed on original wooden blue
soap box base with star accents. Generally excellent. American,early
20th century,the figure likely originated as an advertising object.
