Carved wooden head with rubbed ebony complexion allowing traces of original wood,defined outline of hair,sculpted large ears,large carved eyes with painted side-glancing expression,carved wide full lips with coral shading,cloth body with stiffened painted black finish,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: American,late 19th century. Value Points: rare expression of eyes,fine finish,wearing nice antique costume.
