Black twill cloth doll with stitch-shaped nose,cut-out eye sockets with embroidered edging,inset pearl buttons,sewn-on wig cap,embroidered lips,rag-stuffed stockinette body,ill-proportioned body,wearing antique dress,apron,undergarments,stockings,red flannel shoes. Condition: fair,very play-worn. Comments: American,circa 1880. Value Points: the beloved play doll in most appealing as-found condition.
