All-cloth doll with four-seamed head,oil-painted flat-dimensional face with light-brown complexion,painted black hair,painted narrow brown eyes with shaded brows,outlined broad nose,closed mouth with painted teeth,painted moustache and goatee,muslin body with joined limbs,unusual flat-cut fingers,wearing antique costume and velvet cap. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: American,circa 1890,the unique folk art doll depicts an organ grinder along with his pet monkey. Value Points: very rare doll with distinctively painted features,along with a handmade brown cloth monkey with black yarn knit hair,shoe button eyes,handmade costume,long tail.
