Description
15" (38 cm.) Cut,stuffed and stitched from lithographed fabric
bolt,the doll depicts a blue-eyed boy with brown curly hair,wearing
short pants with suspenders,red socks,boots,and a shirt upon which
is lettered "Ceresota Flour". Condition: generally excellent,colors
vibrant. Comments: probably Arnold Print Works,circa 1900. Value
Points: created as an advertising promotional doll for Ceresota
Flour,the doll has interesting construction,with hat brim separately
attached and lending an unusual dimensional effect.
