All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features,complexion and hair,impasto-painted light brown hair,shaded blue eyes with very thick curly upper lashes,accented eye corners and nostrils,closed mouth,blushed cheeks,stitched ears,cloth sateen body cover,stitch-jointed arms and legs,separate thumbs and defined fingers,antique costume including black woolen sailor suit,medallion pin,shoes and stockings. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Martha Chase,circa 1900. Value Points: well-preserved and painted original finish with especially fine painting of eyes.
