Description
25" (64 cm.) All-cloth doll with stiffened oil-painted face and
hair over muslin head form,and stitch attached to muslin
body,brown painted soft curls,outlined blue eyes with white eye
dots,painted brows,outlined nose,well-shaped lips with accented
center lip,stitch jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips and knees.
Condition: very good,some typical craquelure to original finish.
Comments: American,circa 1890,folk art doll by anonymous maker.
Value Points: charming doll with well-rendered oil-painted
features,good antique costume.
