Description
25" (64 cm.) All-cloth doll with stitched-on oil-painted face and
hair over muslin head form,side seams and front and back center
seams,stitched-on ears,oil-painted brown hair,complexion and
facial features,small brown down-glancing eyes,brown upper
eyeliner,single stroke brows,outlined nose,closed mouth with stern
expression,muslin shaped body with elongated legs,stitched and
separated fingers,costumed. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: American,late 19th century. Value Points: very
distinctive face with well-detailed ears,wonderfully-painted hair
with tendrils of curls.
