15" (38 cm.) All-leather doll with firmly press-shaped facial
features,inset eye sockets with painted blue eyes,long mohair
lashes,accented nostrils,closed mouth with shaded lips,blushed
cheeks,original brunette human hair wig,firmly-stuffed and hand-
stitched all-leather body with jointing at shoulders and
hips,stitched and separated fingers and thumbs,wearing blue linen
dress with smocking and matching bonnet that appear original.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments: mystery maker,early 20th
century. Value Points: very artistically constructed and painted
doll with luxury details such as lashes,superb costume. Also
included is a white mohair piglet with velvet-lined ears and
paws,glass eyes,open mouth,with vintage pin "Yorkshire Breakfast
Bacon,the meat of greatest nutriment".
