Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head with amber-tinted complexion, brown glass sleep eyes, black painted lashes, widely arched black brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, black mohair wig, amber tinted composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: bisque excellent, body is original with original finish, two fingers worn, two toes worn. Marks: SH 1199 Dep 6. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: especially fine quality of modeling, lovely complexion, very beautiful original kimono. Private collection Linda Kellermann.
