Description
20" (51 cm.) excluding ears. Each is of stuffed printed cotton cloth
with nursery rhyme or Easter theme designs,in delicate pastel
colors,and having pink painted clear eyes,floppy cloth ears,and
original matching costumes; one bunny has velvet face and flannel
costume. Condition: some fading and dustiness,overall good. Marks:
Effanbee (cloth tag on one). Comments: Effanbee,circa 1940s. Value
Points: interesting variations of the use of scant material during
the war years to create endearing toys.
