16" (41 cm.) Paper-mache shoulder head with very chubby cheeks,brown
glass inset eyes,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils,closed
mouth with row of painted teeth,blonde mohair wig,straw-filled body
with paper-mache lower arms and legs. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1885. Value Points: fine original
condition with lustrous patina,dimpled chin,wearing original muslin
chemise.
