13" (33 cm.) Padded cloth stretched over wooden bedpost head,oil-painted flat-dimensional face with defined features,linen head back,stitch jointing at shoulders and hips,antique costume. Condition: fair condition,original finish albeit extensively scrubbed complexion and darkened body. Comments: American folk doll with unusual imaginative construction,circa 1880. Value Points: charming little doll in rare size and construction,original costume.
