Description
21" (53 cm.) Firmly-stuffed cloth doll with elaborate stitch-
shaping of head allowing definition of chin and nose,having
lithographed short blonde curled hair and defined blue eyes with
white eye dots,accented eye corners and nostrils,closed mouth with
shaded lips,pink muslin body,stitch-jointed arms with stitched
stubby fingers and separate thumbs,jointed bent baby limbs.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: patented (torso stamp).
Comments: American,early 20th century,unknown commercial maker
with patent stamp. Value Points: wonderful doll of intricate
construction and well-preserved original state,along with a white
mohair plush kitten with glass eyes.
