19" (48 cm.) excluding ears. The standing Mickey Mouse of black
and cream velvet has pie-shaped applique eyes with embroidered
brows and wide smiling mouth,velvety-tipped nose and
body,tail,felt ears,orange velvet pants with white mother-of-pearl
buttons,gold velvet gloved four-finger hands and sienna brown
velvet oversized shoes. With original Steiff button with
underscored F and remains of orange tag in ear,and with Walt
Disney stamp on foot,and with 1937 Official pin with Kay Kamen
markings; Kamen was the first marketing guru for Disney products.
Generally excellent. Germany,Steiff,1934,the largest size of their
early Mickey Mouse.
