Each is all-cloth doll with stiffened oil-painted facial features and brown hair,painted eyes,fringed brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth,accented lips,muslin stitch-jointed body with oil-painted hands and painted shoes,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent,some craquelure on shoulders of brown eyed,feet paint wear on blue eyed. Marks: The Ella Smith Doll Manufacturers of the Alabama Indestructible Baby,Roanoke Ala,Patent (blue eyed). Comments: Ella Smith,circa 1910. Value Points: charming petite models including brown-eyed girl with brown lashes,yellow boots,and short curly hair; and blue-eyed girl with black lashes,blue boots and bobbed hair. Included is a brown bear with glass eyes on cast iron wheeled base.
