The ball-shaped head with oil-painted stitched-on canvas face is stitch attached to muslin body,oil-painted complexion with outlined blue eyes with white accents,fringed brows,closed mouth with accented shaded lips,brunette human hair stitched-on wig,stitch jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips and knees,antique costume,undergarments,and bonnet. Condition: generally excellent,finish on nose is rubbed. Comments: American,circa 1880. Value Points: compelling folk art doll with most artistic painting with extraordinary detail.
