15" (38 cm.) and 19". Each is of black knit or brown loosely-woven
stockinette,and with embroidered features (the boy with painted
button eyes),and with black yarn hair. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: American,circa 1900. Value Points: very
imaginative details of creations,including cotton ball stitched
teeth and eye white on girl,and use of various found fabrics for
costume design.
