Description
The collection includes eight dresses ranging from pinafores to school dresses to Sunday best, pink satin slip, quilted long satin robe, pink serge coat with black velvet collar and cuffs and with matching cap, play set of red satin shirt with blue denim pedal pushers, two additional bonnets, hat box with Fashion Award medal, and pink satin shoe rack with four pairs of foot wear. The clothing is all near mint and in unplayed with condition except, chartreuse dress has some color run on back side, presented in metal trunk. The clothing has stitched-on cloth labels "18" tall Madame Alexander fashions Re. US Pat.Off New York". Early/mid 1950s.
