Description
15" (38 cm.) Each has print-lithographed fabric face which is
stitch attached to firmly-stuffed muslin head form,muslin body
with stitch jointing at shoulders and hips,mitten hands with
defined thumbs. Condition: generally excellent,boy's hands are
play darkened. Comments: Babyland Rag from Horsman,circa 1912,the
models depicted are likely Little Jack Horner and Beauty as shown
in an early catalog of the firm; their very expressive features
clearly influenced by the art doll movement of the era. Value
Points: most endearing American dolls,each wearing its factory-
original costume.
