Square-shaped padded head stitch attached to cloth torso,flat-dimensional face,black painted curly hair,oil-painted complexion and features,outlined eyes,brows,nose and mouth,oil-painted torso,stitch-jointed arms and knees,antique costume. Condition: fair/good,original finish with extensive craquelure. Comments: American,circa 1890. Value Points: the ill proportion of the simple handmade doll is especially touching,the epitome of folk art naivety.
