Description
15" (38 cm.) Each has silkscreen printed face and hair which is
stitch-attached to muslin head form,muslin body with stitch
jointing at shoulders and hips,mitten hands with defined thumbs.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments: from the Babyland Rag
Series of Horsman,the dolls were advertised as having "life-like"
faces,the Dutch boy and girl,named Jan and Greta,were offered as a
premium for selling subscriptions to Children's magazine in
1908,and the third doll wears rare costume of Quaker Maid. Value
Points: beautifully-preserved dolls wearing their factory original
costumes,with fine detail of facial design.
