22" (56 cm.) All-cloth doll with unusual neckless-shaped head,side seams and back of head seam that extend over the crown and onto her forehead,stiffened oil-painted hair with short brown curls,complexion with shaded detail,and facial features with blue side-glancing outlined eyes,fringed brows,outlined nose,mouth painted open with a row of tiny teeth,rag-stuffed very plump body with short bow-legs,oil-painted arms with separately stitched fingers,nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: American,circa 1900. Value Points: rare painting of side-glancing eyes,very artistic painting of mouth and teeth,holding her own little stockinette doll with hand-painted stitched-on face.
