Description
22" (56 cm.) The lithographed cloth doll,originally presented on a
bolt and designed to be cut,stuffed and assembled,depicts the
traditional figures of Punch and Judy,with colorful costumes and
highly-characterized faces. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: Art Fabric Mills,the dolls were offered in 1901,advertised
in Delineator magazine. Value Points: rare examples of cut-and-sewn
dolls are vibrant and well-preserved.
