Description
10" (25 cm.) and 11". Each is all wooden with bedpost-shaped swivel
head having carved and painted hair and facial features with tinted
complexion,eyes and lips,jointing at shoulders,elbows and hips,with
painted shoes. Generally excellent,with play wear on finish.
Probably American in the style known as "bedpost" dolls inspired by
the head shape. The dolls are most appealing folk art.
