22" (56 cm.) Firmly stuffed very plump doll with side seams and chin seam,painted brown hair with added hair at the crown,oil-painted complexion with blush detail,outlined brown eyes with spiral threading,brush stroked brows,outlined nose,closed mouth with outlined lips,painted ears,very plump stitch-shaped body and hands with short stubby fingers,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: American,circa 1900,the folk doll is naively constructed with face shape stretching amusingly beyond the ears,and with matching grand-sized hands.
