All-wooden carved doll with bedpost-shaped head,elongated throat,shapely front torso with flat back,cloth upper arms,wooden lower arms with fork-shaped fingers,jointing at hips and knees of simply shaped legs,painted complexion over gesso,black enamel inset eyes,dot-fringe upper lashes,carved pointy nose,primly painted tiny lips,blush spots on cheeks,brunette human hair wig,silk costume. Condition: very good,with few light touch-ups. Comments: England,circa 1760. Value Points: dear expression on the very proper lady with enamel eyes.
