18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with plump facial shape and pale complexion,brilliant cobalt blue enamel eyes,dark eyeliner,daintily painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with outlined lips,un-pierced ears,brunette human hair wig over cork pate,kid poupee body with shapely plump torso,gusset-jointed legs,porcelain arms to above the elbows with sculpted porcelain fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5 E (shoulder plate). Comments: attributed to Barrois,circa 1858. Value Points: very delicate finest bisque contrasts the rich cobalt blue eyes with dark eyeliner,especially sturdy body and rare porcelain arms,fine antique brown woolen walking suit,bonnet,leather boots.
