15" (38 cm.) Carved wooden socket head,deeply sculpted hair in short
boyish side-parted style,well-defined ears,small intaglio pale blue
eyes with white eye dots,tinted brows,closed mouth with very full
pouting lips,all-wooden spring-jointed body,antique costume of
country boy. Condition: generally excellent,some fading of
complexion. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan 17,'11 USA & Foreign
Countries. Comments: Schoenhut,circa 1911. Value Points: rare early
Schoenhut model with very fine detail of carving,especially hair.
