26" (66 cm.) Pale bisque shoulder head with very plump face,cobalt
blue glass inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,painted delicate
lashes,lightly feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye
corners,closed mouth with pale outlined lips,unpierced ears,blonde
mohair wig over cork pate,French kid poupee body with shapely
waist,gusset jointing at elbows,hips and knees,stitched and
separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: B 10 S.
Comments: French,Blampoix,circa 1860. Value Points: grand
exhibition size of the beautiful poupee with delicate
bisque,sturdy body,fine antique wig and maroon silk/wool costume
with elaborately shaped skirt.
