10" (25 cm.) Bisque socket head,very large brown glass enamel
eyes,dark eyeliner,faintly painted lashes,lightly feathered
brows,accented nostrils on tiny nose,closed mouth with outlined
pale lips,pierced ears,brunette mohair wig,eight-loose-ball-
jointed body with twill-over-composition torso,legs and upper
arms,composition lower arms,straight wrists,antique embroidered
muslin dress,undergarments,bonnet,rose shoes,socks. Condition:
early faint hairline at right side of head,otherwise excellent.
Marks: 1. Comments: Emile Jumeau,his premiere bebe model,circa
1877. Value Points: very rare early bebe with dramatic large
eyes,rare original body.
