15" (38 cm.) (excluding base). Sculpted earthenware figure of Ben
Franklin posed standing,his left arm akimbo and holding a stack of
books,with sculpted hair,and facial features,painted small brown
eyes,and wearing original costume. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: Benjamin Franklin Topeka West Hi School (taped label on
base). Comments: American,historical portrait doll from the W.P.A.
program,circa 1935. Value Points: well-rendered historical portrait
with original finish.
