20" (51 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, very full cheeks and chin, brown eyes with white eye dots, curly upper lashes, fringed brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented bottom lip, blonde mohair wig captured under a fitted green cap with lace ruffle and with little dainty ringlet curls at the sides of her face and nape, jointed arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent, few moth holes in dress and slight fading. Comments: Lenci, model 252, presented as "Marie Teresa" in the 1928 Lenci catalog, a partner to model 253 which was Mozart. Value Points: very rare doll with unique expression and coiffure, wearing her original green felt gown trimmed with organdy ruffled sleeves and felt flowers, matching cap, undergarments, green felt slippers, and holding her wooden bird cage.
