Description
14" (36 cm.) Paper-mache shoulder head with sculpted black curly
hair,blue painted eyes,painted eye liner,feathered brows,closed
mouth,muslin stitch-jointed body,carved wooden lower arms and
legs,painted black ankle boots with white accent dots. Condition:
generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1880. Value Points: in
original peddler attire with multi-layered costume,posed on original
carved wooden pedestal,the doll carries a woven wicker tray that is
laden with novelties,little dolls,sewing notions,buttons,and such.
