18" (46 cm.) All-wooden doll with carved wooden head that is dowel-
attached to the torso,carved definition of facial features,outlined
eyes,closed mouth,carved horizontal wrinkles in throat,shapely
torso,dowel jointing at shoulders and elbows,separately sculpted
fingers,wooden cage skirt with platform base. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: Continental,early 19th century. Value Points:
rare diminutive size with folk art style carving.
