15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder
plate,grey glass enamel eyes with darker blue outer rims,dark
eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed
mouth with outlined lips,pierced ears,brunette mohair wig over
cork pate,French kid poupee body with gusset jointing,stitched and
separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3.
Comments: French,circa 1875,attributed to Gaultier. Value Points:
the dainty poupee has especially sturdy body,and wears fine
antique costume.
