Description
11" (28 cm.) Each has carved wooden head with well-defined facial
features,painted black hair,painted black pupils and brows,shaded
lips,defined ears,muslin firmly stuffed body,wooden hands.
Condition: excellent condition. Comments: circa 1920,from the
Chinese Wooden Door of Hope Mission; the costumes were created by
the homeless women and children who were given a home and
sustenance by the mission. Value Points: pristine condition of the
rare models representing various occupations and social classes of
the era,each with original accessories,two with original tags.
