plate,original spiral spring attachment,deep brown glass
paperweight inset eyes,dark eyeliner,dark painted lashes,brush-
stroked brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed mouth
with outlined shaded lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork
pate,French kid poupee body with gusset jointing at hips and
knees,rare porcelain hands. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 5 (and artist checkmarks on head) E
Depose J 5 (incised on shoulder plate). Comments: Jumeau,circa
1885,a rare variation of the Jumeau poupee,the head is original to
the shoulder plate,and body appears original as does the costume.
Value Points: rare and unusual fashion doll that is fully marked.
