Description
24" (61 cm.) x 20". The gilt-framed shadowbox has a deeply-set
diorama depicting a busy morning scene at a Parisian bakery shop
with a bevy of shoppers including eager children and fashionable
women,and many delicious-looking cakes and tarts. The figures are
set dimensionally to create an animated effect. French,circa
1915,likely the work of a talented artisan. Generally excellent,re-
gilding of frame.
