17" (43 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head with flat-cut neck socket,neck articulation that attaches through the original cork pate,according to the Rohmer neck articulation,very plump facial modeling,bisque shoulder plate,cobalt blue glass eyes,outlined eye sockets,delicately painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accent line between the lips,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,kid poupee body with soft hair stuffing characteristic of Rohmer bodies,kid-over-wooden upper arms,bisque forearms with nicely sculpted fingers. Condition: generally excellent,old hairline on right arm. Comments: Leontine Rohmer,circa 1865,with rare deposed neck articulation. Value Points: wonderful poupee with great expression,cobalt blue eyes,original distinctive Rohmer body,antique costume including corset.
