Description
16" (41 cm.) Each has sculpted one-piece head,torso and legs of
slender proportions,depicting a regal man and woman,with painted
hair,jointed shoulders. Condition: generally excellent,paint rub on
woman's nose. Comments: created under the auspices of the
W.P.A.,circa 1935,probably from the Connecticut workshops. Value
Points: the couple are wearing outstanding original velvet
costumes,the woman with elaborately beaded coiffure.
