15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on composition shoulder head,blue
glass paperweight inset eyes,painted long curly lashes,feathered
brows,accented nostrils,open mouth,row of porcelain teeth,pierced
ears,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,French padded stockinette
over metal armature body,composition hands. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: Bebe Gesland 5 Rue Beranger Paris (body stamp).
Comments: attributed to Pintel and Godchaux,with deposed Gesland
body,circa 1895. Value Points: pretty wide-eyed bebe with rare
body,wearing fine antique lace costume that may be original.
