18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head with kid-edged bisque shoulder
plate,blue glass inset eyes,painted lashes,feathered
brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accented lips,pierced
ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,padded metal armature body
with stockinette cover designed for flexible articulation,bisque
hands,bisque lower legs and feet. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: 4 (head and shoulder plate). Comments: Gaultier,circa
1870,with original distinctive body deposed by Pannier,and made by
Gesland. Value Points: fine quality of bisque on the lovely lady
doll,with rare body,bisque arms and legs.
