Description
5" (13 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso,very narrow blue glass
eyes,painted curly lashes,single-stroke brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with wide smile,loop-jointed bisque arms and
legs,right arm modeled bent at elbow,painted white stockings and
brown one-strap shoes,nicely costumed. Condition: generally
excellent,tiny flake at hip rim of left leg. Marks: J.I.O. c.
1920. Comments: designed by American artist,Jeanne Orsini,made in
Germany,circa 1925. Value Points: fabulous detail of unique facial
model with impressed dimples at lip edges,unique pointing finger
on left hand.
