20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head with rich black complexion,brown
glass sleep eyes,black painted lashes,black brush-stroked brows
with glazed highlights,open mouth with slightly parted very full
lips in delicate coral shade,six tiny porcelain teeth,pierced
ears,black fleecy wig,black composition and wooden ball-jointed
body,pretty antique costume and bonnet,shoes and socks. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: 1358 Simon & Halbig S&H Germany 8.
Comments: Simon and Halbig from their rare 1300 art character
series,circa 1900. Value Points: beautiful flawless complexion
with fine matte finish,artistic painting of lips,original body and
body finish.
