20" (51 cm.) Thick paste porcelain shoulder head with very full
lower cheeks and thick throat,brown-toned black sculpted hair in
arranged finger curls,painted blue downcast eyes,red and black upper
eyeliner,accented nostrils,closed mouth,muslin body with stitch
jointing at shoulders and legs,antique costume. Condition: generally
excellent,some body wear. Comments: Germany,circa 1860. Value
Points: appealing expression of homely lady with shy,yet
proud,expression.
